Astrobiology is a science that studies the origin and evolution of biological systems in the universe.
Is there still life somewhere in the universe? Can you really grow potatoes on Mars? Do diamonds rain on Jupiter and Saturn?
We will try to answer these and many other questions in the astrobiology group through lectures and discussions. Also, here you can learn something more about the basics of astronomy, the possibilities of the origin and sustainability of life on other planets, and other topics related to the field of astrobiology.
We will get closer to the universe by visiting the observatory and planetarium of the city of Zagreb, as well as joint movie nights and quizzes.
