Bioethics

Just because you can, does that mean you should?

This is a basic ethical question applicable to all areas of human activity. In the bioethics group, we clue in on theoretical and practical bioethical principles and concepts. We discuss burning bioethical topics and dilemmas related to new discoveries in medicine and biotechnology.

Our group aims to look at a problem or controversial topic from multiple perspectives and to critically analyze science and the application of specific scientific discoveries. Ultimately, we wish to educate and motivate biology students (or PMF students in general) to actively engage in bioethical activities and discussions.

If you like looking at things from a different angle, learning new and current things, critical thinking and debating – this is the group for you! Hope to see you at our meetings!
