Molecular biology is a branch of biology exploring the origin of life – the processes inside all living organisms, from bacteria to human. With us you can find out more about how biological processes function on a cellular level and contribute to fields such as biomedicine, ecology, biotechnology and many more.
About our work
The main goal of our section is to study topics from different fields of molecular biology and bring them closer to students using lectures and workshops which will be held monthly. The lectures will cover different topics from the classical beginnings to everyday discoveries. During the year there will be opportunities to join many educational workshops such as museum or institute visits or practical work.
Until recently our section exclusively covered the field of genetics, from 2024. on we have decided to expand our field of work to cover all molecular biology. For members expressing special interest for a specific topic, there will still be opportunity to investigate them.
See you there crew!
