PhotoNaturae is an educational and popularizing student project with the purpose of enriching the database of photographs of the wildlife in the area of significant landscape Jelas polje. In addition to that, participants of the project and the general public will be educated about how wildlife photography can contribute to the conservation and protection of nature.
Activities:
•Theoretical part
Lecture on the basics of photography and the proper use of photography equipment
Lecture about the principles of wildlife photography, experiences and advice of wildlife photographers
Lecture about the use of the iNaturalist and Biologer platforms for the purpose of preserving and protecting nature
Lecture about macro photography as a technique for photographing smaller organisms
Lecture about photo processing and preparation for further distribution
•Practical part
Field trips will be held in April, July and October so that we can take photos in the same area through three seasons
Transfer of collected data to the iNaturalist and Biologer platforms
Photographing in the same area through three seasons allows us to record the change in the occurrence of species throughout most of the year
•Exhibition
Presentation of the results and photographed beauty of Jelas polje to the general public in December
