Mammals

In Section for mammalogy, we study mammals – from tiniest shrews, mice, and rats, to bigger animals like beavers, wolves, and even bears.
We organize all kinds of field trips where you can learn how to catch smaller mammals, determine their species, and also find and recognize different animal tracks.

Forests and meadows are home to many mammal species, so it’s important to know who lives where and how. That way we can better protect them and preserve native biodiversity 🙂

Interested mammals of all levels of experience are welcome to join us!
