The sample bank is an initiative of the Association of Biology Students-BIUS, with the task of storing, determining and categorizing all the samples collected during its numerous field activities and research. From the large amount of samples, the best ones, after processing, are stored in the Association’s room where they are available for inspection by members. The samples offer the possibility of studying and working with the organisms recorded in the studied area even after the end of the project.
The main idea of the bank is to provide members with access to samples of various groups, education and specialization of members, and further research using saved samples.
Through the work and activity of the Association, our goal is to build a sample collection accessible to a wider scientific platform.
