Welcome to BIOcast, the biological podcast of the Student Association of Biology (BIUS) and the In Vivo magazine.

Our online show brings current, educational, and accessible content designed primarily for biology students, but also for all biology enthusiasts and lovers of the living world. Join us as we explore fascinating topics and share interesting stories from the world of biology through conversations with experts, students, and professors. In BIOcast episodes, we keep you updated with the latest events and activities within the Association, at the department, faculty, and beyond.

With BIOcast, exploring the broader biological community has never been faster and more interesting.

The show began in March 2019, initiated by the then-editor of In Vivo, Emina Horvat Velić. Today, the hosts are biology students Ana-Marija Glavan and Nika Pribanić.

Episode 2 ā€“ The Management Board of the Association

In the new episode of BIOcast, the current Management Board of the Association introduces themselves and their plans for this academic year. Episode 1 ā€“ Davor MerkaÅ”

The academic year we’ve stepped into brings us the fifth season of BIOcast and a new leadership that you will have the chance to listen to and watch in the upcoming episodes. Episode 1 ā€“ The Dragonfly Section (guests: Gea LukÅ”ić and Vida Ivanković)

We start the new season of beloved BIOcast with our new host, Lea Kordić-Gružić. We kick off with the topic of the revived Dragonfly Section and its new leaders, Gea and Vida.
